Privacy notice

What this site collects, what it does not, and what happens to a message you send us.

This site has no accounts, no login and no newsletter. The only personal data we handle is what you type into the contact form, plus the anonymous measurement data described below.

Last updated August 2026.

The contact form

When you send the form on our contact page, the message is delivered to us by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. The fields you complete, which are your name, your email address, the topic, an optional page reference and your message, are passed to that service and then to our inbox.

We use your email address to reply to you. We do not add it to a mailing list, we do not sell it and we do not pass it to booking partners. Messages are kept only as long as they are useful for handling your enquiry and any follow-up.

Measurement

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand which pages are used and which are not. That tells us where the site is failing to answer a question. It sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, the approximate region you are in and the type of device you use.

We do not use this data to identify you, we do not build advertising audiences from it, and we do not run advertising pixels from social platforms on this site. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with an extension, and the site will continue to work exactly as it does now.

Booking links

Links to booking partners are affiliate links. When you follow one you leave this site and the partner's own privacy policy applies from that moment. The partner may record that the visit came from us so that a commission can be attributed. We receive commission reports, not your booking details, and we never see your name, your dates or your payment information.

Hosting and logs

The site is served as static files from a standard web server. Like any web server it keeps access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and fault diagnosis. Those logs are not used for analytics or profiling.

What we never collect

  • Payment details. There is nothing to pay for on this site.
  • Account credentials. There are no accounts.
  • Special category data, such as health or political information.
  • Anything from the contact form beyond the fields shown on it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. In practice that means any correspondence you have sent us. Send us a message and we will deal with it.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top. We do not keep an archive of previous versions.
